Participating Audiences, Imagined Public Spheres

Cover pictureThe volume Participating Audiences, Imagined Public Spheres: The Cultural Work of Contemporary American(ized) Narratives seeks to explore a specific dimension of the cultural work that narratives are capable of doing: to construct particular communities of readers which, in a variety of ways, function as socio-cultural agents; to encourage particular practices of reading, re- and co-narration that negotiate issues of social or cultural concern.
